Fighting Phat

I need to lose weight and this blog is about my fight against fat. I was 145 kgs (319lbs) at the start of my quest. My goal is to lose 45 kgs (99lbs) of fat. I will be posting my experiences, exercise charts, nutrition plans, and weight on a regular basis to track my progress towards my goal weight of 100 kgs (222lbs). I hope that there are some people out there that might want to join me, post comments, or who may find my blog helpful for any weight loss they may wish to achieve.

Phat Fighter's Treadmill Cardio Workout

Hi all, I have spent the afternoon industriously working away at the web site, and this blog. I have created a new Treadmill Cardio Workout document recoding the cardio sessions that I have been told to do each day. It should be pretty easy to follow, and you can download it by clicking on the link in the 'links' section of my blog. If anyone has any questions about the document, please don't hesitate to post a comment and I'll do my best to answer it.

I've been really hungry today, I think the increase in activity has bought it on. I have stuck to two meals so far, which I probably shouldn't have done. I probably would have been better off to eat more frequently than that to get through it. However, I have made it, and my partner is due home shortly and we will eat together. I find it is better if she is here as I tend to eat less, eat more slowly, and eat better food. Today I have finished off most of the lunch food that I had around the house, so the diet proper might begin as early as tomorrow.

I will be looking to post the diet on the web site, again probably tomorrow for you all to have a look at. I will post the version I have been given, and the version that I intend to do as I do not think that they will be the same thing! You'll be able to download it there, or via the links from this blog as always. I am particularly unimpressed by the egg white omelette three times a week for dinner. I think maybe once or twice might be okay, but three times a week is stretching it a bit I think. I am happy to incorporate more fish and chicken into the diet at the expense of red meat.

So, until tomorrow, I'll keep fighting the good fight, and if my foot is better tomorrow I may extend the cardio workout further. I'm feeling good and I'd like to burn off a bit more each session to try and get myself up and ready for the session on Thursday morning, at 9:15 when I next see the trainer.

You've got your mind on the right track. You can do it! Just stick to your plan and just find what you feel is right for you. That's all that matters. It's a good thing that you got a personal trainer to start. That with help so much.

Hi Chee Ken Whengs, thanks for the positive feedback. I feel good about having started, and I feel better physically and mentally now that I am a few weeks into this journey.

You're right, finding what feels right to me is the most important aspect in ensuring the I reach my goal. There is so much advice out there about what I should do, but none of it will work if it isn't right for me, and I am not able to follow it. I know I can get there, using my judgment about what is right for me.

It is good to have the trainer for now, she is pushing me along and is making me realise that I can accomplish more than I thought I could. She is expensive, but I will stick with it for as long as I feel that I am getting a good return.

Thanks again for the comment.
